Green Recreation - SPA Hotel Belvilis cycling routes in the laky surroundings
In Molėtai district, close to Bebrusai, Juodieji Lakajai and Siesartis lakes, SPA Hotel Belvilis implemented bicycle and pedestrian paths for the enthusiasts of cycling and active recreation. With this project we aim to encourage choosing unconventional and active recreation in the nature.


We desire that the picturesque laky Molėtai region would be attractive not only for those coming here to enjoy the peacefulness of the forest, fresh air and water activities or to relax in our SPA centre, but also for those who like active and sporty recreation and are searching for new ways to spend their leisure time.
The cycling routes extend to a hilly forest, therefore, cycling enthusiasts may not only enjoy the surrounding nature but also can try their strength. There are also some flat areas which overlook the landscape of Baltieji Lakajai, Juodieji Lakajai and further - Kertuojai lake.


Following the routes that are marked in the maps with the special signs, it is possible to take a circuit around Siesartis and Bebrusai lakes as well as to have an eyeful of the strands of Baltieji Lakajai and Juodieji Lakajai. Siesartis cycling route reaches the Lake Fishing Museum in Mindūnai, where old fishing equipment is exhibited, therefore, the enthusiasts of active recreation have an opportunity not only to exercise but also to get acquainted with the history of the region.

1. BELVILIS. SIESARTIS.

Distance: 21.38 km
The sum of heights: 108 m

Description:
The route is not difficult because it mainly consists of good quality asphalt roads, however, it contains many hills of 15-25 metres height. It is suitable for the beginners, however, it is compulsory to follow traffic regulations as the route extends to the road.
 
 
2. BELVILIS. LAKAJAI.

Surface: 5% asphalt, 55% gravel, 40% forest and meadow paths

Description:
The route is intended for mountain biking enthusiasts as it has almost no sections of asphalt surface. The first quarter of the route is hilly but later the ground is mainly flat, with views over the landscapes of Baltieji Lakajai, Luodieji Lakajai and further - Kertuojai lake. The route has plenty of places to stop and relax in the natural environment.

Description:
The route is intended for mountain biking enthusiasts as it has almost no sections of asphalt surfaces. The first quarter of the route is the track of Belvilis part of Lithuanian Velo Marathon. The surface of the whole route is not difficult, however, as it goes very much up-and-down the hill, it will take some effort.
